Spring Skills Academy

Our Spring Skills Academy is open to U19, U16, U14, and U12/U10 athletes. This program provides opportunity for athletes of all skill levels that are looking for true skill development without committing to a travel team. A maximum of 40 athletes per age group will be accepted. This is a GREAT session for those looking to fine tune and learn new skills. Basic to advanced skills are taught by some of our most experienced coaches. Athletes will be grouped based on age group and split into small groups based on skill. The Spring Skills Academy will include drills as well as small games so that everyone learns how to implement the skills into game like settings. The structure of each training session will be a quick warm up, skill instruction, and then small games to implement skills. Please note this is NOT a league like the YMCA offers - this is for skill development.

THIS SESSION RUNS FROM APRIL 14th through May 29th. We will NOT have training sessions on May 12th (mother’s day).

SESSION FEES

U10 & Under, U12, U14, U16, U19

$325 = EARLY Registration DEADLINE is January 31, 2024

$350 = REGULAR Registration DEADLINE is February 29, 2024

U16/U19

Training sessions will be on Sundays 3-4:30 pm OR 4:30-6 pm

U14

Training sessions will be on Sundays 3-4:30 pm OR 4:30-6 pm

U12/U10 & under

Training sessions will be on Sundays 3-4:30 pm OR 4:30-6 pm

Spring Skills Academy Dates:  

Sundays, April 14, 21, 28, May 5, & 19

Wednesdays, May 22 and 29 from 5-6:30 pm

AGE REQUIREMENT

U12 and under = 11 or younger on January 1, 2024

U14 = 12 or 13 on January 1, 2024

U16 = 14 or 15 on January 1, 2024

U19 = 16, 17, or 18 on January 1, 2024

 *USA Field Hockey membership is REQUIRED for all registrations. Please visit their website http://www.usafieldhockey.com for more information. 

EQUIPMENT: Once we receive the completed registration, signed waiver, and payment, we will email you a confirmation. You will need a stick, shin guards, mouth guard, and a water bottle. These items are mandatory. If you are new to the sport and need to borrow equipment please email us so we can assist with this.

No athlete will be allowed to attend this session without complete registration information and payment. No exceptions. Refunds are only issued due to an injury/illness with a doctor note once payment is processed - please visit our Policy and Procedures page for more details. In the event of a Covid-19 shutdown, we will pick up where we left off when allowed. We will apply a credit to a future session or tournament in the event we are not allowed to resume during the session.
